Nicholas would like to welcome you to the McLaren Street Clinic.
Chiropractic is a health profession concerned with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system. These include;
Sporting Injuries, Back Pain, Neck Pain, Headaches & Migraines, Shoulder & Rotator Cuff Injuries, Ankle &Knee Injuries, Tennis & Golfer Elbow, general muscular aches.
Initial chiropractic consultations are of one-hour duration and include history, examination and treatment. Subsequent treatments are half an hour.
Treatment may include massage, soft tissue releases, muscle stretching, trigger point therapy, posture training, dry needling (also known as musculoskeletal acupuncture and facilities deep tissue healing) and joint adjustments/mobilizations if required. Rehabilitation exercises and education will be given to allow you to take active part in the healing process.
Nicholas is a registered Chiropractor and member of the Chiropractic and Osteopathic College of Australasia.
Like many of Nicholas's patients you will be both surprised and delighted to discover that there is rarely any justification for continued long term ongoing therapy sessions.

In addition to attending to his McLaren Street patients, Nick has previously held teaching postition at the University of Sydney where he specialised in instructing students on the clinical aspects of human anatomy.
The University of Sydney's Faculty of Medicine is Australia's oldest and largest medical school, undertaking teaching and research of international standing.
Nicholas discovered and pursued his true vocation for health care whilst serving in the Royal Australian Navy, where he underwent comprehensive training not only as a Navy Diver but also as a Medical Technician where he also observed surgical procedures in the operating theatres.
Despite the fact that he was still an operational member of an elite Navy diving crew Nick began studying for a Biomedical Science Degree at the University of New England, concluding his Chiropractic undergraduate studies at Macquarie University upon leaving the Navy.
Whilst completing his 'Masters of Chiropractic' degree, Nicholas worked part time at Manly District Hospital as an operating theatre assistant. A position he still holds today. These experiences, together with his post graduate academic achievements in chiropractic science are evidence of Nicholas's invaluable depth of knowledge and his extremely high level of clinical ability.
